Updated: 31 May 2016
Canada’s first-ever Pride Month launches June 1, 2016, and culminates with the 10-day Pride Toronto Festival, from June 24th to July 3rd. Taking a cue from Mean Girls – with an inclusive spin – the 2016 Pride Month line-up embraces the sentiment, ‘you can sit with us.’ Get out there to celebrate and support the LGBT community; Pride Toronto is committed to bringing people together to celebrate the history, courage and diversity of the Pride community, ‘uniting and empowering people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions.’

While must-visit events are being put on throughout the month of June, don’t miss all that Pride Toronto Festival has to offer. Celebrate Pride across the city – from family Pride screenings at TIFF to events in conjunction with the ROM, Ripley’s Aquarium, and Luminato Festival. Pride Toronto culminates in the annual Parade on July 3rd.
