First Thursdays @ The AGO
On the first Thursday of every month, the Art Gallery of Ontario hosts a lively party after hours from 7:00 – 11:30pm. First Thursdays spring into action starting in April in 2016 with a series of rebellious performances and installations inspired by the AGO’s featured artists alongside with musical headliners, and each night comes with a fully stocked bar to ensure an unforgettable party.

Pancakes and Booze Art Show @ The Opera House
Established in May 2009, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show is an art and music movement that swept the United States as their largest exhibit of emerging artists which is now entering the Canadian scene. The Toronto exhibit will take place place on April 22nd 2016 at The Opera House, where guests can expect displays from 100+ local artists, musical performances, live canvas and body painting, endless booze, and free pancakes!

TGIF Art Colouring @ The Gladstone Hotel
Colouring books for adults have blown up recently because of their nostalgic appeal and stress-relieving benefits. The Gladstone Hotel has introduced a TGIF Art Colouring workshop where you can melt the stress away in their Melody Bar and groove to some tunes while trying to stay within the lines.

Friday Night Live @ The ROM
ROM Friday Night Live is a weekly party series with live music, local eats, and late-night access to the museum every Friday from April until June of 2016. The University of Toronto’s jazz program plays throughout the evening so that history and art lovers can roam amongst the dinosaurs with a cocktail (or two) in hand.

Known as one of the best intimate concert spaces in Toronto, Placebo Space is so much more than just a venue for local musicians. Artless Hub is a community run shared studio and creative space. It’s a welcoming place where everyone is encouraged to come work, play with the arts, and explore their creativity in all forms. Art Toronto @ The Metro Toronto Convention Centre
Founded in 2000, Art Toronto is Canada’s international contemporary and modern art fair. It located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and will run from October 28th – 31st 2016. This popular event provides unique access to the Canadian art market and presents important artwork from leading Canadian and international galleries. Fashion Art Toronto @ Daniels Spectrum
Running from April 12th-16 2016, Fashion Art Toronto is an arts & fashion week that celebrates contemporary art and design through runway shows, live performances, fashion films, photography exhibits and art installations. This annual multi-arts event features 200 Canadian and International fashion designers and artists and is located at Daniels Spectrum (formerly the Regent Park Arts & Cultural Centre). Fashion Art Toronto consists of a showcase of multi-media performances in an effort to redefine our perception of fashion. The amount of wine focused paint nights across the GTA has exploded over the past year, and Paint Nite hosts many painting parties across the city at a variety of bars and restaurants where you can kick back with a boozy beverage and produce a painting (with all the art materials supplied for you). The Clay Room
The Clay Room is an interactive ceramics studio on the Danforth that is ideal for private parties. Operating since 1995, customers can purchase a ceramics piece from the store (or bring one from home), and the studio provides all materials from paints, brushes, aprons, work area, sponge shapes & letters, stencils, and tools needed to turn the clay piece into a work of art. Private BYOB parties can be booked after hours and are extremely popular for birthday parties, showers, and work functions.
