8th & Main is definitely one of the most popular independently owned and operated clothing boutiques in Vancouver. They not only stock a range of sizes and brands from places such as Denmark, Australia, and North America, but their women’s and men’s clothing is also very reasonably priced. Founded in 2005 on Main Street, Umeboshi is known for its selection of unique footwear and complementary accessories. Owner Stephanie Gorrell focuses on handcrafted wares from independent designers. She says, “Each piece has a history to share, and it is our joy to muse on it with you.” Some of the designers at Umeboshi include Anne Thomas, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Soludos, and Veja sneakers.
