Run by the same family for over 40 years, Cumberland Pizza is a small, unpretentious pizzeria that serves great quality authentic pizza. Its location on Nelson Street is modest but charming with hanging baskets on its canopy and a few outdoor patio tables. The pizzas on offer are simple but delicious, and there are also some Greek classics on offer, all made from only the freshest ingredients.

With two locations across the city, Zazaza is owned by the same restaurateur behind the popular Burger chain ‘The Works’. Although created with different concepts in mind, Zazaza shares the same basis of good-quality food served in an environment that places a concentrated focus on great hospitality. The menu is loosely based around a theatre theme, the ‘pizazz’ element of the restaurant, with playfully named pizzas such as ‘napoleon’s leftovers’ and ‘shangri la di da’.

An impressive accolade given their relatively short history, Anthony’s Pizza was recently rated one of The Food Network channel’s Top 12 Pizzerias across Canada. This charming restaurant has a welcoming, homely feel that definitely succeeds in its intention to bring a little slice of Naples to Ottawa’s Glebe neighborhood. The menu is simple but has ample choice and feels very authentic, with its fresh ingredients and wood-fired crusts.
