If you love a good yarn, this is the festival for you: the Toronto Storytelling Festival hits Toronto from April 1st to 10th for a multi-part celebration of all things stories. There’s plenty of tale-based fun to be had, so plan your time accordingly:

April 1st – 2nd: The Festival kicks off with Storyfire, a celebration of community storytelling across the city.

April 3rd: For an afternoon spent hearing Toronto’s greatest storytellers, head to Storytelling at the Gladstone.

April 6th – 8th: Storytellers Camp, a three-day festival-within-the-festival, brings together workshops and story talks with national and international artists.

April 9th – 10th: The Festival goes out with a bang with its first ever TD Story Jam, a two-day family storytelling party, at Harbourfront Centre.

Festival tickets and camp registration information is available here.
