Party At Toronto's Caribbean Carnival

Picture of Culture Trip Toronto
Updated: 1 July 2016
Toronto Caribbean Carnival, formerly known as Caribana, is your chance to experience Caribbean culture and traditions at their finest. From dancing and music to food and art, this summer festival is the place to be, as it’s one of the largest festivals of its kind in North America, bringing in almost a million people each year. The festival will kick off on July 5th at Nathan Phillips Square with a launch party, but there’s lots of other events going on throughout the three weeks like the annual ball at the Liberty Grand, the King & Queen Showcase and the Caribana Grand Parade, the most popular event of the entire celebration. Feel free to dress up in your most lavish attire and dance your heart away.

Free admission for most events – some events require ticket purchase. Check schedule for more info.
