Join The Fringe Movement At The Toronto Fringe Festival

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 27 June 2016
It’s Fringe season, and the Toronto Fringe Festival is back. With over 150 shows in 30+ venues across Toronto, theatre lovers have the chance to catch more than 1,100 performances. Toronto’s first Fringe Festival was in 1989, and the Festival has since established itself as the must-see event for fringe theatre lovers. More than a theatre festival, you can also see dance, visual art, buskers, site-specific performances and more.

Take a look at the 2016 Festival Program to plan your Fringe itinerary. Tickets are refreshingly reasonable (the maximum price is $12, while kids’ tickets are just $5), and you’ll find nary a theatre snob in sight. Be sure to check out The Fringe Club, the outdoor festival headquarters, for plenty of free programming.

Fringe tickets are a maximum of $12, and you can also check out value passes, available here.

📅 June 29 – July 10, 2016
