Go Sake Wild At Kampai Toronto Festival Of Sake

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 27 May 2016
Held by the Sake Institute of Ontario, Kampai – meaning ‘cheers!’ in Japanese – is bringing 150 sakes from North America and Japan to Toronto for a ‘matsuri’ (sake) celebration. Each sample will be paired with a bite from some of the best restaurants in Toronto and educate tasters on the versatility, culture and history of this unique beverage, proving sake is more than just rice wine. If you’re a sake connoisseur – or wish to be one – opt for one of the masterclasses to explore the regions of sake or the aging process ($25 extra). Kampai!

Tickets $45-100. Purchase them here.

📅 Friday, June 3, 2016; 6-10pm (VIP access at 5pm)

📍 The Fermenting Cellar, 28 Distillery Lane, Toronto, ON, Canada, +1 416 203 2363
