Held by the Sake Institute of Ontario, Kampai – meaning ‘cheers!’ in Japanese – is bringing 150 sakes from North America and Japan to Toronto for a ‘matsuri’ (sake) celebration. Each sample will be paired with a bite from some of the best restaurants in Toronto and educate tasters on the versatility, culture and history of this unique beverage, proving sake is more than just rice wine.
