Updated: 7 April 2016
The Art Gallery of Ontario has been celebrating The Year of Photography and featuring special photography exhibitions since last summer. The celebration comes to a close with two major photography exhibitions this spring. The first is the much anticipated Outsiders: American Photography and Film, 1950s – 1980s. This exhibition features more than 300 hundred photographs and five films exploring the lives of those that lived just outside the American-norm, challenging the boundaries of the status quo.
