As part of the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, head to Toronto’s historic Mackenzie House to get lost in Nathan Cyprus’ Ordinary Weather. This exhibition emerged from the premise that there’s an innate sense of wonder in our surroundings ‘that seems to only truly manifest itself when we become tourists in an unfamiliar landscape.’ With Ordinary Weather, Cyprus questions why we lack this wonder in our everyday landscape – a question he resolved to answer by exploring Toronto by bicycle. Check out this stunning photography exhibition to see your city with new eyes – and perhaps a new outlook.
Regular admission applies: Adults $6.19, Seniors/Youth $3.54, Children: $2.65 (plus tax). Children (4 and under) visit for free.
