Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 31 March 2016
‘If music be the food of love, play on,’
– William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night

If Shakespearean English and iambic pentameter aren’t your jam, experience Shakespeare’s much-loved romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, through Mendelssohn’s ‘charming incidental music.’ For one weekend this April, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra stages Handel’s brilliant concerto, with Heidi Van Hoesen Gorton — the TSO’s accomplished Principal Harp — taking centre stage.

Tickets range from $18 (balcony) to $29 (main floor) and can be purchased online for the Saturday and Sunday performances. Three or more attending? Enter promo code FAMILY for a discount.
