Catch A Canuck Flick At Canadian Film Fest

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 30 March 2016
Canadian Film Fest is back. Devoted to celebrating and advancing Canadian filmmaking talent, this film fest is 100% Canadian. Held throughout theatres in downtown Toronto, check out the best short and feature films by Canuck talent, in addition to galas, parties, panels, and meet-and-greet sessions. College Street’s historic Royal Cinema will screen most of the films, so get your tickets in advance and support Canadian cinema. Be sure to check out Thursday night’s headlining film: Sean Garrity’s Borealis: an unemployed gambler who takes his estranged pot-smoking daughter, Aurora, on a risky road trip to Churchill, Manitoba to show her the Northern Lights – before she goes completely blind.

Check out the full schedule of events and films.

Tickets to individual films, panel sessions, and festival passes are available here.

📅 March 30th – April 2nd, 2016

📍 Across downtown Toronto. Most films are screening at:
