Macaron Day is best celebrated — well, everyday — but this year, Toronto will be joining in on the fun for the first time. March 20th marks International Macaron Day; participating bakeries and patisseries across the city will celebrate by offering free macarons. Twenty-five percent of any additional sales made on this day will be donated to the Red Door Family Shelter and other local charities, with different patisseries supporting various organizations. Let’s come together and rejoice in this Instagram-worthy (and delicious) treat in the name of a good cause — and for the love of baked goods.
