Infinity, a smart LED lighting system, was chosen for the prestigious award, excelling in the category for its formal quality, functionality, ecological compatibility, and innovation.

The product was “evaluated according to the highest standards in design by a jury of award winning architects, designers and experts around the world,” says the press release, and joins Humanscale’s lineup of award-winning products, including Trea, Ballo, and QuickStand Lite.

The design features “constant torque axis ‘forever’ hinges and one-hand maneuverability for precise movement and enhanced flexibility,” an intuitive dimmer control that can customize up to nine levels of light, and an energy-conserving passive infrared occupancy sensor.

The high-tech, high-design lighting isn’t the only award winning technological design coming out of Humanscale: OfficeIQ, in partnership with software company Tome, was also the recipient of Fast Company’s new “World Changing Ideas Awards,” where a jury panel selected twelve winners for the “best projects and products that present tangible solutions to create a better world.”
