Sensation Club

No need to wait until the weekend to party at this glitzy nightclub in the Crown Plaza hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Monday’s R&B night is one of the city’s most popular events, with DJs, entertainment and an extensive cocktail menu. The club also holds dedicated hip-hop, Asian and ladies’ nights, when the bar is free for women before 1am.

Want to make the most of those steamy Dubai nights? BASE is an open-air nightclub like no other in the Dubai Design District, playing hip-hop and chart hits on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The club, on the rooftop of the Meydan Racecourse Grandstand, has a breathtaking view of the Dubai skyline, second only to the spectacular live performances and light shows. Get here early to guarantee entrance, and dress up: this place is seriously glamorous.

Cirque Le Soir

Everything from hip-hop to EDM goes, and the circus performers are there to make every night special.

Armani/Privé

Armani/Privé, in the luxurious Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa, is your classic premiere nightclub – the only difference is that this club’s set in one of the world’s very tallest buildings. Dubai’s best-dressed come out to play here, and they sure know how to party, with nightly sets by resident and international DJs. During fashion season designers are also known for showcasing couture collections here.

Billionaire Mansion

The name says it all – this is your best shot at partying like a billionaire in Dubai. This restaurant and club, which opened in 2016, is a mix of glitzy dining and drinks and has a party atmosphere. It’s well loved for the tunes played at its weekly urban night the List, held every Sunday. Make sure you’ve got your best shoes on for this one, so you fit in with the crowd.

Cavalli Club

Cavalli Club is a Dubai icon. It’s been a go-to party destination since 2009, before the city’s club scene really picked up. Expect glamour galore, with low-hanging chandeliers and a well-dressed clientele. Live shows and DJ sets up for grabs at this award-winning club, and the Italian and international fusion food comes highly recommended.

People by Crystal

People by Crystal, in the landmark Raffles Hotel, is an old-school favourite with residents and tourists. Getting in might be a hassle if you don’t follow their dress to impress style code, but once you’re in the 250-person club, you’ll see what all the hype is about. House and rhythm and blues are on the decks, and the club is open three days a week.
