Amman has a few experiences that require a little more effort to discover than others, but a visit to the city isn’t complete without taking in at least a few of them. Culture Trip’s curated list of luxury experiences in Amman will help you to enjoy the city and its surroundings in style.
As the capital and largest city in the country, Amman is Jordan’s cultural centre. Although a relatively young city in the Middle East, it’s also the home of some fascinating ancient ruins and landmarks. While visitors often use Amman as a pit stop on the way to Petra or the Dead Sea, this destination has a lot to offer of its own.
A great place to indulge in some good food, wine and pampering, Amman has a range of experiences to discover, from spas, vineyards and wine tasting, to private street food experiences and VIP travel. These recommendations have been handpicked so you can enjoy your visit just that little bit more.
Our tour gives you a chance to see the historical sites in downtown Amman and taste some of the popular dishes. You are directed through the hustle and bustle of Al Balad, enjoy the atmosphere, indulge in the food culture and mingle with the locals. We’ll pick you up from any location in Amman, so joining the tour is hassle-free.
This is a three-day tour private tour for one to seven people to Mount Nebo, Dana Nature Reserve, Al-Shobak Castle, Petra and Little Petra, Wadi Rum, Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea and the Dead Sea. Start the first day from Amman, toward Dana Nature reserve (where there will be a quick stop for photos), and continue to Al-Shobak Castle, then Little Petra, and end the day at your hotel in Wadi Mousa. Early the next day visit Petra until 4pm (in the winter 2pm), to exploring the main parts of the city. Then head to Wadi Rum and spend the night, explore the valley by a Bedouin Jeep tour for two hours. On the final day travel to Aqaba (in the south-western corner of Jordan) then to the Dead Sea through the Rift Valley highway. Aqaba on the Red Sea is skipped during winter season (November to March).
Jerash, Ajloun Castle, and the ancient ruins of Gadara (Umm Qais) are not-to-be-missed sites while touring Jordan, and with our tour you will be escorted by an English-speaking driver. See all three locations in one day during this comprehensive sightseeing tour by private, air-conditioned vehicle.
