With Spring in full swing, the weather is perfect for going outside and enjoying the plethora of cultural events in store this month. Israel has everything from Start-Up networking events, to open-air music festivals and wine tastings, with something for everyone all over the country! We’ve curated the best from the rest so you can make the most of March 2016.

DANCE | St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre With Prima Ballerina Giselle at the Israeli Opera

Tuesday 1-2nd Wednesday March

The globally acclaimed St. Petersburg Ballet Theatre, which has been producing classical shows for 20 years, will be performing at the Israeli Opera with Prima Ballerina Irina Kolesnivoka, named the ‘’the jewel of the crown in the SPBT’’.

FOOD | Wine Wednesday Annual Party

Wednesday 2nd March

This unique and exciting wine event is the perfect excuse to drink wine while raising both money and awareness for significant projects in Israel.

DANCE | Itzik Galili Returns To Suzanne Dallal

Wednesday 2-3rd Thursday March

Itzik Galili, the renowned Israeli choreographer is coming back to Israel after over twenty years, his returning debut cannot be missed.

CULTURE | Soul Sisters Festival

Thursday 3rd March

The Soul Sisters Festival is an extraordinary event in honor of International Women’s Day, where women of all backgrounds will gather to celebrate our roles as women – as well as take positive action to create peace.

Friday 4th March

From sunset on Friday until sunrise of Saturday, this energizing event will bring participants together in a magical location dedicated to the arts of movement and open a wide array of attractions that have been carefully selected for the sole purpose of magnifying consciousness.

TRAVEL | International Women’s Day

Tuesday 8th March

This International Women’s day celebration will provide the exciting opportunity to meet inspiring leaders in hi-tech and innovation, as well as the chance to hear Wendy Singer speak, the executive director of Start-Up Nation Central, as well as Dr. Michal Tsur, the co-founder, president and CMO of Kaltura. Both men and women are invited!

ART EXHIBITION | Pop Up Shop: No Drama at Kuli Alma

Sunday 6th March- Wednesday 9th March

A fun pop-up-shop event in the name of Girl Powee, where items like handbags, wallets, plants, jewellery, illustrations and art prints will be sold by 5 artists; Stolen Goods, Galisfly, Tiny Treasures, Jill Schweber.

TRAVEL | Female Entrepreneurs Night

Wednesday 9th March

This Female Entrepreneurs Night is organized by MassChallenge Israel and ProWoman Alumnae Association. It is a rare chance to connect with successful, entrepreneurial women.

The EPOS International Art Film Festival is the first of it’s kind in that it is centered on the killer combination of art and cinema.

ART | Larry Abramson Presents “Chovevei Zion”

Thursday 17th March

Gordon Gallery will be exhibiting international artist, Larry Abramson, featuring a solo show, titled “Chovevei Zion”.

Monday 21st March

The 8 time Tony Award winning show will be a rocking, energetic and awakening, as Spring Awakening the musical lands in Tel Aviv.

ART | Gordon Gallery Talk With Larry Abramson

Friday 25th March

Following the opening of Larry Abramson’s exhibition, the artists will be giving a talk to the public and answering questions.

TRAVEL | Tel Aviv Zombie Walk

Friday 25th March

This is an annual tradition in which thousands of adventurous people in Tel Aviv put on their best Zombie outfits in honor of Purim and walk through the streets of Tel Aviv.

MUSIC | Purim Street Party

Friday March 25th to Saturday March 26th

This is the biggest Purim event and most diverse as it provides a fun experience for those of all ages, and year after year it has been a huge success. The exact location and more details are yet to come, but there is no need to purchase tickets, as this is a free event.

Saturday 26th March

Israeli opera stars, Na’ama Goldman and Anat Czarny display an intimate French love at this outstanding show.

MUSIC | Blues and Booz at Pasaz

Sunday 27th of March

Every Sunday evening at the popular Allenby St venue the Pasaz. The idea is simple, bring your own instrument, play lots of blues and drink lots of booze.

International Cubaton group Gente de Zona are coming to Tel Aviv. Gente de Zona’s music has a unique mix of reggaeton, rap and traditional Cuban music influences.

MUSIC | Chris Norman Live in Tel Aviv

Wednesday 30th March

Chris Norman, British rock singer and former lead singer of the popular band Smokie is coming to rock out in Tel Aviv! At one of the city’s most iconic cultural centers, Norman will perform live from Heichal Hatarbut‘s Charles Bronfman Auditorium.

The popular venue Bootleg will be turned into an art gallery for one night only with this special evening of artists gathering to exhibit their work.
