European feeling, Delicatessen offers the best fine products to eat on the premises or to take home. The boker delicatessen starts off with a freshly squeezed orange juice or grapefruit juice, followed by a delicious plate of smoked fish. The fish are flaky and light, and smoked to perfection. Freshly baked bread and a plate of cheeses handpicked by the chef from the best dairies in Israel. A standard omelet is replaced by creamy rich eggs salad paired with an abundance of scallions.

The Hilton Hotel

There are moments in life when you feel it is necessary to splurge, and in these moments, treat yourself to breakfast at the Hilton. Begin the journey with freshly cut vegetables, followed by the cured and smoked fish, pâtés and spreads made daily by the chef. Pick from a variety of cheeses which range from hard, soft and homemade delights. Make sure to leave some room for the hot buffet filled with quiches, pastas, and potato dishes. The best of all is the egg station, where a waiter will prepare your omelet just the way you want it. Finally, taste some of the soft and fluffy chocolate cake, along with coffee, teas and freshly squeezed juices available at the bar station. An unforgettable and exquisite experience if you are willing to pay the price.

La Repubblica Di Ronimotti

The atmosphere at this Italian spot is striking. The inside includes an airy space with huge windows, wooden floors and wood furniture with dried salamis hanging from the ceiling. The recommended breakfast order at La Repubblica is the ‘Boker di Repubblica. The meal begins with bread baskets filled with fresh-baked poppy-seed cakes, sweet and fluffy brioches, homemade jams, and olives. Next come the salads, which are fresh and well seasoned. The meal continues with a frittata, perfectly runny, mixed with fresh vegetables and placed in the middle of the table for sharing. The picked fish and cheese that accompany the meal are both interesting and delicious. Finally, all of this comes with a jug of Lambrusco in addition to two hot drinks of choice.

La La Land

For a more ‘beachy’ breakfast, head over to Gordon Beach and take a seat at La La Land, a ‘people watching’ paradise. The Israeli breakfast comes with the typical assortment of Bulgarian and soft cheeses, olives and tuna fish. This is accompanied with eggs as well as an Israeli salad. The meal comes with a cold or hot drink. The breakfast at La La Land is best for those who love their eggs with a view.

Located on the corner of King George and Shaul Hamelech streets, Tepale serves a non-typical Israeli breakfast in a typical Israeli atmosphere. While the staff dances and chants to a mix of Greek and Mizrahi music, take a seat at one of the small tables surrounding the bar. Try the night breakfast, which is composed of delicious stuffed vine leaves covered with soft white yoghurt served with a remarkably creamy and thick labane sprinkled delicately with zaatar. It is accompanied by a well-seasoned salad made of fresh vegetables, and finished with a velvety chocolate spread and fresh bread. Lucky diners may even get a complimentary alcohol chaser.
