Top Shopping Malls in Central Israel

Rivka Frimer

In Israel, one of the biggest tourist attractions is the numerous shopping options on offer. Not just the array of choices, but also the diversity: everything from shouks and flea markets to upmarket locations with designer labels. Dotted within central Israel are some of the best malls the country has to offer, so here are our favorites.

Azreli

1. Azreli, Tel Aviv

Shopping Mall

Ramat Aviv
The Azreli Center is one of the biggest features of the Tel Aviv skyline. Conjoining three tall towers, this mall has all of your trendiest stores, such as Forever 21 and H&M, but also includes an extensive food court, plus numerous unique Israeli brands and boutiques. Combined, this is a full day of an intense shopping work-out. If that doesn’t tempt you, then perhaps a visit to the top of the building, with some amazing views of the whole city, is an option.

2. Ramat Aviv, Tel Aviv

Shopping Mall

Ramat Aviv is an upscale shopping location, with shoppers who are eager to spend more of their shekels. This is a hotspot for those with an elite fashion sense, with a Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren, to name a couple, you will definitely find designer names here. Another bonus is the celeb-spotting.

3. Grand Kenyon, Haifa

Shopping Mall

Haifa contains a number of shopping malls dotted all around the city, but the Grand Kenyon flaunts its way to the top of them all. Kenyon (Hebrew for a shopping mall) is a uniquely designed venue, half-underground. With an intertwined route for the stores, and a huge selection to choose from (220), it also has a spa and a mini amusement park to keep the kids entertained, whilst you do your shopping.

4. The 7 Star Mall, Herzliya

Shopping Mall

This shopping mall really does deserve its seven stars. With 140 stores to explore, plus its cinema, not to mention the frequent events that it plans for festivals and Jewish holidays, there really is something for everyone in the family. Voted as one of the top five malls in Israel, the 7-star-mall in Herzliya is located in the central area of the country, accessible even from the beach. With Herzliya being a growing city of more venues to come, this really is something that dedicated shoppers should check out.

5. Rechovot Mall, Merkaz

Shopping Mall

This mall is definitely worth a visit as it has just as much choice as the inner-city malls within Tel Aviv. Rechovot is in the Merkaz area of Israel; it is a small town but with a busy atmosphere. The mall has some top chains including Zara and American Eagle, and in recent years has been climbing the ladder to become a leading competitor to be one of the best shopping malls in Israel.
