Tel Aviv's Beaches Are Transformed Into An Art Gallery

Picture of Culture Trip Tel Aviv
Updated: 11 November 2016
Tel Aviv is well known for its miles of white sandy beaches sitting along the beautiful Mediterranean coast. Tel Aviv is also famous for its art museums and highly cultured city life. This summer, those two entities will be combined when Tel Aviv’s beaches transform into an art gallery for an entire month, starting May 26, 2016.

The outdoor exhibition, held in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, will showcase some of the museum’s selected works by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Kandinsky and Van Gogh.

All of the works showcased at the beach are art reproductions, and the originals can be viewed at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, one of Israel’s leading artistic and cultural institutions.
