Every fashion lover knows that a Grammy Award show can’t be missed. When music meets fashion, amazing surprises are bound to happen. While our favorite artists all performed, the real place-to-be was on the red carpet. This year, Israeli designer Galia Lahav’s dress was a real hit. Here’s a closer look at why!

All eyes were on Meghan Trainor during the 57th annual Grammy Award ceremony. The famous singer of “All About That Bass” looked stunning in her custom gown by Galia Lahav. The singer, who is used to mixing retro and colorful preppy styles, chose to collaborate with famous Israeli fashion house Galia Lahav.

This Tel-Aviv based designer is famous for her haute couture evening and bridal dresses. The subtle embroideries, the breathtaking dress trains and the fashionable evening dresses made her brand become well recognized worldwide, and is especially loved by celebrities. Mixing lace and luxurious embellishments, Galia’s designs are elegant and contemporary.

Based on Meghan’s ideas, they created a graceful and timeless black lace gown for the event. This off-the-shoulder dress with black embroideries revealed a bustier beneath translucent tulle. Inspired by the 1940s and the old Hollywood glam, she decided to complete her outfit with bright red lips, long lashes and classic Hollywood curls.

The bubbly singer was definitely “all about that lace” and her collaboration with Galia Lahav may not be her last. We’ll have to watch and see!
