There’s no question, most of the best nights out in Tel Aviv
have started and ended on Rothschild Boulevard, a nightlife staple. The iconic avenue is home to some of the city’s best restaurants, bars, and clubs
, with something for everyone. Whether you are a hipster, jazz music junkie or just looking to dance, Rothschild guarantees a great night, any day of the week.
Start Your Night Right
Culture Trip believes that the best way to start any night is with a good meal. Some favorites on the boulevard include Vong, an authentic Vietnamese kitchen with great drinks and an even better vibe. Try their veggie chai mon for dinner, and don’t skip the shrimp dumplings, either. Another option is the Social Club, an elegant eatery that serves up amazing food and even better craft cocktails. Their menu is ever changing, but their staple artichoke salad is not to be missed.
Get The Drinks Flowing At A Hipster Bar
Once you have some food in your system, you are ready to hit the bars. Arguably the best bar in the area is Kuli Alma. Though technically located a couple blocks off Rothschild, this bar always has an amazing DJ and draws a hipster crowd. With changing art covering the walls, funky videos, and unbelievable drinks, this place is an easy favorite. Don’t miss their slushies. The flavors change every night, but they are always topped with a delicious gummy candy. Or go for a Club Mate, a classic Berlin energizing drink, and add vodka.
After getting some drinks at Kuli Alma, check out the new Sputnik while making your way back to Rothschild. This unsuspecting bar is located in an alleyway, but follow the lights to a cool underground space with a super cool outdoor area. Sputnik offers awesome cocktails as well as traditional long drinks and shots.
When back on Rothschild, you can continue to get your drink fix at BuXa, an underground bar that usually draws an older crowd. The place is dark and intimate, definitely a good place to bring a date and enjoy a couple of songs, which will be spun on a vinyl record player by an amazing DJ.

Hit the dance floor
When you are ready to dance, head to Billie Jean. Though the space itself is small, it is electric. And don’t be shy, there are always people dancing on the tables. Join them.
For a chiller dance floor, but a dance floor nonetheless, opt for Jimmy Who? The spacious venue has two bars and two rooms that meet in the middle with a compact dance floor. If you are looking to meet some locals, this is definitely a place worth checking out. Also, the DJs are known for mixing great tracks and creating an atmosphere of positive energy.
Going Strong For The Nocturnal Types
If you’ve made it this far into the night, there is no turning back now. Keep your dancing shoes on and line up at Radio EPGB. Located a few blocks off Rothschild, this late-night club is known for its hip-hop-themed Monday nights. The place picks up later in the night, so don’t think about starting here. But once you are out, you don’t want to miss it.
The notorious Breakfast and Milk is the place to end the night. Comprised of two connected spaces. Milk, the bar, and Breakfast, the club. The venue stays open until the sun rises. There are always locally renowned DJs spinning here, so you can count on amazing music to set the tone for the night. Get ready to dance and have a blast.
Enjoy The Midnight Munchies
At this point in the night, there is guaranteed to be a longer line at Tony Vespa or Benedict than any of the clubs. These two famous restaurants are conveniently located right across the street from each other.
Tony Vespa is home to one of the best slices in Tel Aviv and is definitely the best late-night slice. So, queue up behind the other drunk and hungry Tel Avivians and wait for your hot, cheesy slice. The famous Benedict, open 24/7, features a classic American diner menu, meaning they have bacon, which can be very hard to find in Tel Aviv. It is unlikely that there is a better way to end a night on Rothschild than with their heavenly pancakes.
