Potty for all things Potter? Well, we’ve got some good news for you Culture Trippers, because a London drinking den has just introduced Harry Potter-themed Butterbeers to its menu and we can hardly contain our golden snitches!

Jason Atherton’s Soho-based Leaky Cauldron, the Blind Pig recently launched a string of cocktails inspired by children’s literature, including a butterbeer-based drink available on tap. Aptly named ‘Half a Pint ‘o Buttah’ (we love the added Laandaan lingo here), the Potter-inspired booze contains whisky, Kamm & Sons (a botanical spirit), thyme, a dash of beer and of course the star ingredient, butterscotch!

But that’s not all book fiends. Other literary-inspired cocktails include a Winnie-the-Pooh-themed ‘Hunny Pot’, made from buttered rum, mead, apple brandy (lush) lemon and honey, as well as a ‘Lost and Found’ cocktail dedicated to Paddington Bear, which contains Peruvian Pisco and marmalade. There’s also a gin-based ‘Mr Tumnus Tipple’ for The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe fans and sparkling luminous ‘Dream Jars’ for those who can’t get enough of Roald Dahl’s The BFG.

Looks like we’re all off to get butterbeered.
