Wahaca’s Day of the Dead Festival

Renegade Art Fair

Back for its 13th year, Renegade Art Fair returns to the Old Truman Brewery this weekend for a fair of festive family fun. One of the best places to get ahead with Christmas shopping, the fair offers a variety of beautiful artisan crafts, jewellery, ceramics, toys, stationary, artworks and knitwear (and everything is handmade). With more than 125 vendors, you will be spoilt for choice. For a more hands-on experience, why not attend on of the workshops being held. As if you need another reason: admission is free!

World Press Photo Exhibition

Celebrating their 60th anniversary in style, the World Press Photo Exhibition returns to Southbank Centre to showcase the best in international photojournalism. With over 97,912 photographs from 5,692 photographers submitted, the winning images are the cream of the crop. Exhibiting in more than 90 cities in 45 countries, the World Press Photo Foundation continues to provide a global platform for upcoming and established photojournalists. This exhibition is not to be missed.

Little Feast

Back for another year, Shepherd’s Bush Yard is once again transformed into the Scandinavian winter wonderland that is Little Feast. Complete with real fir trees and Norwegian-imported woods, Little Feast provides as authentic a Scandinavian winter as can be, on this side of the North Sea. The food menu offers an eclectic mix of cuisine, from Vietnamese pork to Moroccan lamb. Entrance is free and you can turn up on the day – but if you register online you can grab a free festive winter warmer!

Soho Shebeen Irish Pop-Up Bar

Coinciding with the launch of 3 new brands of Irish Spirits, the Soho Shebeen pop-up graces Greek Street for one week only. Spread across three floors, the pop-up bar provides a fully immersive Irish evening. Get a feel for Feeney’s on the ground floor, delve into a Dublin-inspired speakeasy on the first floor, or go all out Gothic on the second floor. All visitors are offered one free drink (drinks are £5 after this), so make sure to pop along for a winter warmer this weekend.

BAFTA 2015: A Year In Pictures Open Weekend

This weekend, BAFTA opens its doors to the public for the exhibition BAFTA 2015: A Year In Pictures. The exhibition features over 100 photographs ranging from studio portraits, red-carpet paparazzi shots, to candid backstage snapshots. The weekend is also accompanied by an extensive talks programme, which will cover topics such as women in film and paparazzi. Entrance to the exhibition is free and any event tickets are £7.
