Sick of Kim K, your lip pouting friends and all those other #selfies on your news feed? Well, look away immediately because London’s Saatchi Gallery is planning a selfie exhibition next month.

A selfie exhibition you say? Yes, really. From ‘Selfie to Self-Expression’ explores the history of the selfie with amazing artworks ranging from the self-portraits of Vincent Van Gogh and Rembrandt, to Tracey Emin and Gavin Turk and will feature a load of interactive, digital and user-generated (#instagram) content.

Best thing about it though is that you can even be featured in the show too! If you think you’ve got a strong selfie-game (that includes #duckface, #mockshot, #peace4selfies), the gallery is calling on all artists, photographers and regular selfie-whores to submit their selfies into a competition to have their work showcased in the exhibition. Get snapping!

Submissions are now open and the winner of the Saatchi selfie competition will be announced at the show’s launch in London on March 30. Submit yours here!

Until then, have a look at some of the entries on Instagram below!
