Founded in 2006, the festival takes a look at the best in independent films, and this year is set to be the biggest event yet.

A unique mixture of fresh filmmakers and Academy Award winners make up the 16,000+ community involved in the festival. From 1st – 5th September 2017, some of the industry’s most creative minds are set to take London by storm for a celebration of short film at Calvert 22 Space in Shoreditch, East London.

A combination of screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions and a series of infamous parties make this an unmissable highlight of the film calendar.

Tickets are on sale now and you can browse all the ticketed festival events here. More information and details of the films being shown this year can be downloaded and viewed here.

The theme of this year’s festival is Dimensions of Diversity, signaling a global expansion for the event and a world view that effects all our futures. Looking at unknown cultures, traditions, histories and people, the aim is to give exposure to lesser known voices.

The capital is set for a busy few months as the London Film Festival will begin in October, followed by Raindance and Hot Docs season.
