The Search for the Landscape Photographer of the Year 2015 Begins

Picture of Culture Trip
Updated: 10 May 2016
Landscape photographers, you were waiting for this moment… Entry for the ninth annual Take a view Landscape Photographer of the Year Award is now open! You have until July 12 to submit your photographs (via www.take-a-view.co.uk) of the British landscape. Enjoy a selection of inspiring shots from last year’s competition below.

What makes this competition unique is that it celebrates the United Kingdom only, offering photographers worldwide an opportunity to showcase their images of Britain. From stark moorland to angular cityscapes, and from rocky coastlines to lush woodland, Britain’s remarkable landscape and volatile weather provides generous material to fire the imagination.

The Landscape Photographer of the Year is open to everyone, with a special class or those younger than 17. As in previous years, an exhibition of shortlisted and winning entries will premiere in the late autumn.
