The Weekday store on Regents street marks the latest arrival of H&M’s brands; Arket is joining in October too. Previously only available online and in stores across Europe, Weekday is the label that London has been missing – a combination of fashionable, wearable pieces at heartily accessible prices. Think an offer that is a little more tied to the trends than Cos, with an edgier aesthetic than &OtherStories and H&M.
Alongside Cheap Monday, which is sold in store, Weekday is especially known for their jeans. Styles vary from classic skinny to perfectly fitted straight leg styles and mid-rise kick flares. Alongside trans-seasonal denim expect to pick up some dreamy additions to your AW17 wardrobe – oversized faux shearlings, puffer jackets and chunky knits are all on our wish list.
“We are very happy to finally be able to announce our expansion the UK. It has always been on our agenda to open up a store in this great fashion country and especially in the inspiring city of London.” Said David Thörewik, Managing Director of Weekday. He added, “We believe in a modern and youthful approach to fashion and we are confident that the UK is a great fit for our offer. We look forward to seeing how our collections are received.”
Weekday’s Regent street store will open on August 18th, and the first 200 customers will receive 40% off their purchases; on Saturday the first 100 customers will receive a free pair of jeans.
And will the hype around this opening is palpable, it’s just the beginning: more Weekday stores are set to open across the UK soon after.
Expect this new Scandi arrival to take 2018 by storm. We’ll see you on the shop floor.
