The men of London raised the style stakes for SS18, bringing a hot array of maximalist fashion, bright primary colours and signature idiosyncratic flair to the city.
The fifth anniversary of London Fashion Week Men’s welcomed a slew of international designers and a standardly eclectic crowd. With a newly designed logo by Tracey Emin and the return of Vivienne Westwood to the London schedule, the buzz around 180 The Strand was palpable.
While on the catwalks designers channelled big, splashy performances (Liam Hodges’s Bear, Charles Jeffrey and his Loverboy cast, Vivienne Westwood’s circus or Bobby Abley’s Teletubbies, to name a few) on the streets the emphasis was on subtle details, with clothing and accessories expertly juxtaposed.
