The interest in healthy eating, clean living and an altogether more considered approach to life is forever on the rise and with it has come an influx of exciting new restaurants, cafés and fitness studios that allow us to embrace our new-found passion. Here, we list the best of London’s juice bars. Think of it as your what’s-where of the most nutritious refuel recipes in the city.
The Detox Kitchen
The ultimate ‘clean living’ brand and the only establishment that we know of who can disguise the taste of courgette within their drinks recipes, The Detox Kitchen is the best place to go to guarantee what you’re drinking is 100% goodness. There’s certainly no hidden sugar or unhealthy (but tasty) additions to this juice menu. The Soho-based Kingly Court branch is particularly central and it has recently announced that after 5.30pm all food will be priced at 50% off to save on waste.

Commuters rejoice, for juice bar, Supernatural has opened at Canary Wharf station and it offers a fresh alternative to the ultimate pre-office pick-me-up: coffee. From the fruity Strawberry Zing to the somewhat greener Detox Cleanse, there’s something to suit all tastebuds, but don’t expect to dine in here, it’s the epitome of the term juice ‘bar’ and it works on a takeaway only basis.
Located inside the beautifully curated Joseph store on Westbourne Grove (featured in the Best Womenswear Boutiques in West London), Canyon Juicery is the style set’s favourite refreshment stop. Their philosophy is simple and they live by the mantra that juicing as a daily ritual is the simplest and most effective way to nourish and transform your body. All recipes are raw and organic with The Good Green containing two kilos worth of raw and organic vegetables in each bottle.

Joe and the Juice
You’ll find Joe and the Juice dotted around various London locations and the branch at the edge of Marylebone Highstreet is perhaps the most central. Inside, it’s exactly what we’ve learned to expect from the brand. Pumping music, a fun atmosphere and a more varied menu than you might find in any other juice bar on the high street, it’s as good as spot as any to meet for a social catch up.
Ace Hotel is arguably one of the most stylish hotels in Shoreditch so its no surprise that it’s home to its very own juice bar, Loveage. Guests at the hotel rejoice, for ingredients are especially combined in a way that’s designed to lift you out of your traveller’s fatigue, and it makes for a fresh alternative to caffeine and alcohol if you’re popping by for a meeting, a place to set up your laptop or for a social catch-up.

Offering fast food with a healthy twist and delicious juice options that complement the menu, LEON on Regent Street is our favourite daytime grab and go establishment. Reach for one of their pre-blended drinks if you’re in such a rush that you can’t wait for one that’s made to order.
LEON, 275 Regent St, Marylebone, London, +44 20 7495 1514
The Good Life Eatery
This health-focused food and drinks establishment does exactly what it says on the tin and what you’ll find inside is wholesome, delicious fresh recipes for every time of day. If you’re keen to try something other than the juice (although their inventive concoctions are certainly tempting – the new Pro Greens menu addition features a sneaky hit of jalapeño) then why not opt for one of the nut milk based drinks instead for a different kind of health boost?

Located just opposite Tottenham Court Road station and a stone’s throw from Covent Garden, BOOST is the perfect place to pick up a quick juice on the run. The menu is ever-evolving and the offering spans sweet smoothies made with frozen yogurt to something more wholesome like the carrot and ginger-based concoction.
Granger & Co.
With branches located in Clerkenwell, King’s Cross and Notting Hill, Granger & Co. is one that foodies of the city might already be familiar with – not least for their delicious (and dare we say instagrammable) brunch menu. But it’s the extensive juice options that have caught our eye here as it’s rather more comprehensive that those that you might find accompanying any other restaurant menu. We suggest Bill’s Beets or Sunrise if you’re looking to complement your morning feed.
