The Best Fashion Photographers Of The Last Century

Picture of Ellie Griffiths
Updated: 24 April 2017
Over the past century, photographers have learnt to portray the fashion of the era in an unique new perspective, to tell the tales of the time or a new story whether fact or fiction. Well known for producing the first fashion photographs ever published, Edward Steichen makes the point that ‘A portrait is not made in the camera but on either side of it,’ and you can clearly see the perfection portrayed in these photographs.
