If you’re starting the day early with a good breakfast, or looking for a catch-up with friends over a lazy brunch, affluent Maida Vale plays host to an array of good morning menus. Here’s our guide to the best places to brunch in this up-market area of West London.

The Elgin

Just across the road from the Maida Vale tube station is The Elgin. On the menu you’ll find toast, fresh breads, and pastries, as well as poached eggs. If you need an extra pick-me-up with breakfast then order one of their carefully made coffees, which use beans sourced from Coleman Coffee Roasters.
