London’s favourite al fresco film series, Rooftop Film Club, has just announced a new summer season that will see music and movies combine in a unique partnership with NME and the BFI.

Additional films have been added to the line-up including recent hit 20th Century Women (2016) starring Annette Bening, Elle Fanning, Greta Gerwig, Lucas Jade Zumann and Billy Crudup, as well as modern classic Little Miss Sunshine (2006).

All the films will be screened on one of the best digital projectors available, with another highlight being a special 20th anniversary screening of Spice World (1997). Now, doesn’t that just make you feel really old?

Continuing the musical theme, and for the first time ever, Rooftop Film Club will team up with iconic music publication NME and the BFI for a series of films and music events curated by Bastille frontman Dan Smith.

Over the course of 10 nights, CineJam will see fast-rising musicians performing live sets before screenings of classic films, at the Bussey Building in Peckham.

Finally, there will be a special celebration of Focus Features, the studio behind some of the most critically-acclaimed films of recent years. Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black will host a Q&A on July 1, with additional guests to be announced soon.

Tickets for all screenings across the rooftops can be found here.
