Updated: 22 June 2016
Celebrating the greatest human emotion of all through the art of music, art, dance and performance, the summer of love has returned to London. Changing the nature of love in the 21st century, the Southbank’s Festival of Love brings hundreds of artists and communities together inspiring creativity and social action in their works and the public. From the immersive musical experience, Klanghaus: On Air, to an Air Play adventure featuring flying umbrellas, giant balloons and floating kites, love will be explored. For those looking for inspiration or wanting to make a change, the Change Makers provide a series of talks and workshops to this cultural fix. If, however, you would like to enjoy the summer, there are many events taking place; from morning yoga to a drink at copaCABANA beach to running through the Appearing Rooms fountain by internationally renowned artist Jeppe Hein, there is something for everyone.
