Learn to experience the city you live in and the cities you love, through the eyes of an architect. Architect by day, Anna Gibb’s latest exhibition, A Place To Draw, will open your eyes through her hand drawing interpretations of the cities in which she has lived. From Florence, to – of course – the almighty London, Gibb has reflected the history and culture present in the cities within her visions through highly detailed, idiosyncratic urban landscapes. Like many other people, Gibb understands the feeling of isolation within the bustling energy of a city – alongside the excitement, of course – however, it is through this experience that she found a new way to understand the surroundings. Not only will you have the chance to relive these cities on a new page, but at Adrem’s DreamSpace Gallery you will also have the opportunity to draw your own interpretation of, and reflect on, the city. So, why not get creative and start reflecting on the great city in which you live.
