Get ready to aww, because the adorable Princess Charlotte has started nursery, and she looks a picture.

The Duchess of Cambridge released two photos that she took of the little princess, as any proud parent would.

The two-year-old, who is fourth in line to the throne, had her photo taken at Kensington Palace before heading off to her first day at Willcocks Nursery School.

The little girl is pictured sitting on some outside steps of the famous landmark and standing while holding onto a rail.

She’s wearing a red felt coat and red leather shoes, grey woollen tights, a pink knitted scarf and a pink backpack – and she looks just like her brother George.

The shape of the siblings’ faces, their similar hair and their adorably round cheeks means that you can definitely tell the brother and sister are closely related.

Charlotte will be a full-time pupil at the nursery. Fees start from more than £3,000 a term for its morning sessions and £5,400 for afternoons.

At nursery, she’ll enjoy pottery and poetry classes, as well as plenty of playtime. The school is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and is right next to the Royal Albert Hall, a short walk from the palace.

When it was announced that the princess would be attending Willcocks, a spokesperson said: ‘We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte. We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January.’
