Norway's Lofoten International Art Festival 2015 - A Sneak Peek

LIAF is a widely diverse Scandinavian festival of contemporary artists offering anything from documentaries, to sculptures to textiles and there’s great list of artists featuring this year.

The wonderful venue will transform into a mad house of crazy ideas and inspiration.

The group exhibition hosts a fantastic range of contemporary works focusing on the idea of human agency disappearing through the processes of history, ecology, and technology.

Throughout the recent history of the festival there’s been an impressive range of spectacular pieces creating jaw-dropping exhibitions and stunning works.

The Lofotos Islands experience the largest temperature anomaly in the world due to it’s high temperatures so don’t let the word ‘arctic’ put you off. The exhibitions are set in an old WW1, seven storey building waiting for demolition after the festival.
