If you have someone special to spend it with, Valentine’s Day will be pretty magical no matter what you do but should you really want to pull out all the stops for you and your significant other, you can actually spend it in the Hogwarts Great Hall.

Though Harry Potter is best known for wizarding wonders, it’s actually not short of romance either, from Ron eating love potion-spiked chocolates to Harry and Ginny’s first kiss, so the Great Hall be the perfect place for Potter-obsessed lovebirds to celebrate Valentine’s.

On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th February, Warner Bros Studios will host two very special dinners, where couples can don their best dress robes and enjoy a three-course meal on an intimate table for two. After canapés and a Love Potion cocktail, they can enjoy starters like fig, rosemary and goats cheese tart and pressed chicken terrine, and a main of either roast rack of lamb or ricotta gnocchi, before tucking into a selection of desserts.

After dinner, guests also get to experience the studio tour, taking in various sets like Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest and the Gryffindor Common Room, with drinks served on Platform 9 ¾, tankards of butterbeer in the back-lot café and coffee, tea and petit fours served overlooking the amazing Hogwarts Castle model.

And if the night wasn’t enchanting enough, everyone gets a wand to take home as a souvenir – perfect for practising those charms.

Despite the hefty price tag all the tickets have sold out, so only a few lucky Muggles will be enjoying a bewitching Valentine’s evening but we’ve got our fingers crossed that more Harry Potter events will happen over the next year.

We are proud that, for more than a decade, millions like you have trusted our award-winning recommendations by people who deeply understand what makes certain places and communities so special.

Increasingly we believe the world needs more meaningful, real-life connections between curious travellers keen to explore the world in a more responsible way. That is why we have intensively curated a collection of premium small-group trips as an invitation to meet and connect with new, like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime experiences in three categories: Culture Trips, Rail Trips and Private Trips. Our Trips are suitable for both solo travelers, couples and friends who want to explore the world together.

Culture Trips are deeply immersive 5 to 16 days itineraries, that combine authentic local experiences, exciting activities and 4-5* accommodation to look forward to at the end of each day. Our Rail Trips are our most planet-friendly itineraries that invite you to take the scenic route, relax whilst getting under the skin of a destination. Our Private Trips are fully tailored itineraries, curated by our Travel Experts specifically for you, your friends or your family.
