After a week of ‘severe’ weather warnings, snow finally began to fall in parts of south London on Thursday evening before quick, and very wet, flurries soaked the rest of the square mile and the West End.
In usual London style, the snow sparked chaos in the city with many rail, tube, roads and even air traffic services affected.
Left bemused after the ‘thundersnow’ and ‘deadly blizzards’, Londoners took to Twitter to mock what turned out to be nothing more than a light dusting.
