London Marriott Hotel County Hall has launched the world’s first weather reactive room service with the help of meteorologist and Sky News presenter Kirsty McCabe. McCabe’s weather forecasting skills will ensure the guests of one of London’s most luxurious five-star hotels are prepared come rain, snow, sleet or sunshine.

If the skies are overcast, a light therapy lamp will be brought to the room, should the sun make a rare appearance – guests will have a selection of luxury skincare products waiting on the bedside table and best of all there’s a hair stylist on call to fix any wind-related issues.

What’s more McCabe’s predictions will help the hotel’s concierge stay ahead, so they can recommend outdoor activities knowing the sun will be shining, or advise guests to take one of the complimentary rain macs and a pair of wellies on their excursions. The aptly named Silver Lining Package is available to guests staying in one of the hotel’s 12 premier suites.
