The film is a prequel to the original Annabelle (2014) and delves into the demonic doll’s past. The creepy horror has already won a slew of rave early reactions, with cinema-goers and critics proclaiming it as one of the best scary movies of recent years.
Warner Bros. and New Line, the team behind the film, now invite the brave to look after Annabelle themselves as part of a new horror experience arriving in London ahead of the movie’s release next month.
Featuring props used in the movie and created by the team behind David Copperfield – The Immersive Experience is set to combine magical effects, immersive sound and an element of theatre to give visitors the full Annabelle treatment.
The location is suitably spooky, a purpose-built Victorian style House in East London.
Participants will be asked to look after a seemingly innocent 11-year-old girl before Annabelle makes her demonic presence felt. The rest of the night is being kept under wraps, and that’s probably for the best.
The experience lasts 20 minutes and is very much not for the faint of heart.
Annabelle: Creation opens across the UK on 11 August
