Folk-punk troubadour Frank Turner will be performing a rare acoustic set as part of Goose Island’s 312 Day.

The outspoken singer, who released his sixth studio album Positive Songs for Negative People back in 2015, will be headlining the craft beer festival on March 12.

Support comes from cult Grammy Award-winning blues man Son of Dave, who will be playing the harmonica and beat-boxing, along with Brixton brass eight-piece brass band Brasstermind. DJ Paul Cross will be taking over the decks.

Food comes courtesy of Howard’s Meat Co, who have come up with a special BBQ brunch menu for the event, and of course there’s going to be lots of beer!

312 Day has been held on the same day for the past five years in Goose Island Brewery’s hometown of Chicago and it’s the second year the festival has taken place in London.

Tickets for Goose Island 312 Day cost £10 and are on sale now. They include a complimentary glass of the brewery’s Urban Wheat Ale.

Beer, bands and BBQ – what’s not to like?

Goose Island 312 Festival takes place on March 12 from 2pm until 7pm at The Yard, 89 ½ Worship Street, London, EC2A 2BF.
