This January, the Royal Academy of Arts have collaborated with virtual reality platform HTC Vive to create a pop-up immersive art experience that incorporates the latest virtual technology tools. Three artists from the Royal Academy Schools, graduates Adham Faramawy and Elliot Dodd, along with third-year student Jessy Jetpacks were given HTC Vive to create virtual works. For the first time, these creations have been rendered using 3-D printing technology. We attended the launch night to meet the artists and experience their virtual art.
