Challo paneer gourmet sushi burger
Created by the boys at Sticky Bundits, this tofu burger does away with the meat, cheese, and even the bun. Instead, slab of paneer cheese is slathered in spicy chilli sauce, cabbage, and cooling raita, before being sandwiched between two discs of peshwari rice. It’s a burger, in the loosest sense of the word.
Ramen katsu burger

Avocado bun burger

In the ‘bun’ is a beef patty, sauce, tomato and lettuce. There’s also the option of adding cheese. Of course the drawback is you can’t really pick it up with your hands like a normal burger.
Tempura Soft shell crab charcoal bun burger
Black never goes out of fashion, and at Bull In a China Shop the buns are made with bamboo charcoal (don’t worry, it doesn’t taste of ash). Inside is a tempura-battered soft-shell crab.
The Original Waffle Burger
Finally, there’s the original waffle burger at Bird, which see a tender chicken thigh, rasher of bacon, and slice of cheese all served between two golden waffles.
