The critically acclaimed international festival of hip hop dance theatre, Breakin’ Convention, returns to Sadler’s Wells for the 13th year, with performances from both local British and international companies and crews. Across the long weekend, you will have the chance to witness some of the greatest international acts – France’s Antoinette Gomis, Spain’s award-winning Iron Skulls crew, and the World Champion b-boy crew, The Ruggeds, from Holland, alongside World Street Dance Champions, Flawless. With a wide range of styles and diversity, this festival promotes empowerment, ambition and individuality through this unique dance genre. This is the world’s greatest celebration of the hip hop culture, and the biggest highlight from the British dance calendar this year, so make sure you don’t miss it.
