Experience the Best Christmas Films With Pop Up Screens in the Snow

Christmas films are just as much a part of the festive season as Santa Claus or ridiculous jumpers. For Londoners, the best way to experience recent favourites such as Elf (2003), The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) or Home Alone (1990) is with Pop Up Screens’ Cinema in the Snow.

Hackney Showroom in east London is the place to be, although it will undergo a dramatic transformation to turn it into a Christmas Grotto with all the trimmings. From December 8 until Christmas Eve, visitors will enter the magical venue through a secret wardrobe and be transported into a winter wonderland.

Once inside, you’ll be able to wonder through the snow covered trees, sip on mulled wine and tuck into snacks that are perfect for the occasion. Obviously there’s still the small matter of films to enjoy, and this year’s line up has something for everyone.
