Don’t Be The Only Human Bean Afraid Of The BFG

Picture of Ellie Griffiths
Updated: 12 October 2016
‘The matter with human beans, is that they is absolutely refusing to believe in anything unless they is actually seeing it right in front of their own schnozzles.’ So, why not prove the Big Friendly Giant (BFG) wrong by heading to cinemas to join ten-year-old Sophie on an adventure of a lifetime in The BFG. A young orphan, Sophie is one of the fortunate kids who get the chance to meet the only non-child-eating giant, who stands at 24 feet. Much to her surprise, the BFG is rather charming and heads to London with Sophie in order to convince Queen Victoria to get rid of all of the bad giants like Bloodbottler and Fleshlumpeater – two unwanted and unpleasant child-eating giants. This iconic story by Roald Dahl is a story like no other with words and phrases from the Gobblefunk language that you will be laughing about for days on end. The BFG’s kind-hearted soul will captivate all who cross his path, despite his intimidating appearance – so don’t let him down.
