Clipper Round The World Boat Race
If Carnival isn’t your thing, why not head down to the river and watch the exciting beginnings of the Clipper Round The World Boat Race. Starting at St Katharine Docks, the race will wind its way through the city passing Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Greenwich and the O2 Arena, before setting off for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Catch ‘em whilst you can.
Magnum Pleasure Store

Covent Garden Balloons

Do you have your delicious and personalised Magnum? Enjoy this treat whilst dreaming of a far away place under the clouds. Figuratively speaking, French artist Charles Pétillon has filled South Hall with 100,000 glowing helium balloons that definitely look like dreamy clouds! Be sure to remember about your ice cream though before it melts in admiration of these glowing balloons.

Need a break from Carnival? Escape to the roof of the former BBC Car Park in White City to STOREYS: the perfect place to savour the last of the British summer. Enjoy delicious street food from celebrated vendors, treat yourself to a cheeky cocktail, and take in the incredible panoramic view and artworks. And (did you guess it?): entry is FREE!
