Absolution And Bill Clinton Hercules In A Double Bill

Picture of Francesca Hobson
Updated: 2 June 2016
This double bill hits London in full-force with two thought-provoking plays set to leave you on the edge of your seats. Directed by the magnificent Guy Masterson, both productions hone in on hard-hitting subjects that will leave you mesmerised by the performances. Absolution is the first of a double bill; set in present day Donegal with the disappearances of Catholic priests holding the storyline. One man knows why they are disappearing and wants to confess. The confession is brutal and bloody, announcing that it isn’t murder; it’s absolution. The second performance focuses on a world withered by war where the 42nd president, Bill Clinton, is in charge. Bill wants to cut loose and reform the world with his own fantasy TED talk which ranges from Trojan Wars to the future of democracy. Will he be silenced by his wife Hilary’s political ambitions, or hold true to his own?
