A Super Cool Floating Hot Tub is Coming to London This Summer

There have been some crazy creations of late, but this one outdoes them all.

One day, Tommo Stuart Thomson and Jack Clegg had a brainwave: what happens when you combine a boat with a hot tub? A HotTug, obviously. The half boat, half hot tub creation means that you’ll no longer have to book that overpriced spa day, because this beauty now combines the pleasures of bobbling along on a boat with a pampering sesh.

Coming to Regent’s Canal this summer, the cool little thing is powered by an electric engine (don’t worry, it’s totally safe), which propels the tub for an experience that lasts no longer than 90 minutes. And if you’re wondering, it’s filled with fresh water that’s heated to 38°C (110.4°F) by a little wood fire. Lovely.

The fab boat is docked in Old Street in what they’ve dubbed, ‘the HotTug House’. All the HotTuggers – their phrase, not ours – have to do is turn up in their trunks and bikinis. Sounds like a plan, no?

If you want to be one of the first to hop aboard the HotTug, you can donate to their crowdfunding campaign, which gives you access to early-bird booking discounts.
